We cannot answer this question immediately, without having a complete specification of building materials and the scope of work to be done - every project is unique.
We have built some houses for the price of LTL 500 per 1 m2.
Approximate price of a panel house with a partial finish is LTL 1000 - 1500 per 1 m2.
Are the houses produced by UAB Kriaute long-lasting?
Wood was one of the first building materials used by people who had stopped living in caves. There are many wooden houses in the world which are older than 150 years and these houses are still functional and serve their purpose. If your house is properly built and maintained, you can expect that a few generations will live in it.
What fire precautions are typical of panel houses?
Wooden load-bearing structures are impregnated with fire-proof materials or coated with nonflammable materials. Therefore houses built by UAB Kriaute comply with the fire safety requirements of the Republic of Lithuania.
What maintenance does a house produced by UAB Kriaute require?
It depends on the interior and exterior finish which is chosen by you. If the exterior is finished with wooden boards, our company recommends paint producers whose products carry a ten-year guarantee. If the exterior finish is made of bricks or plaster, the house requires as much maintenance as a brick building.
How long does it take to build a house?
3 to 4 months from the date of issuance of Conditions for Preparing a Project to handing over the keys.
Is it difficult to build a house?
It is very simple. The major part of work is done by employees of our company, whereas the exterior and interior finishing can be done even by an amateur.
How much will I save?
You can save up to 25 %. It depends on several things:
- on how much time you have, if you are going to do everything by yourself
- on how competent you are to evaluate the work done by hired workers
Is it necessary to use a typical project made by UAB Kriaute or can a client use an individual project made by himself ?
We can offer to you a number of typical projects; however, a project submitted by you will be willingly accepted.
What functional purposes can panel houses serve?
They can serve different purposes; they can be used as individual dwelling-houses, cottages, summerhouses, garden-houses, bathhouses, mobile houses used for household purposes or mobile offices.
